    I live in Michigan. They had molted at about 14-16 weeks old. It was after that when they first started laying There are only a scattering of feathers, not like before. I've had other RIR's as well as Golden Banties and those girls never let me down. It's been 3 weeks since the last egg...

    My RIR's stopped laying so I put a light on them for 14 hrs/day about a week ago. I'm also seeing feathers on the floor. Have I caused a problem with their cycle? Should I shut the light off until they done molting? Thanks

    Hi. I have 21 rir's that were laying 14-19 eggs a day. The weather got colder and the girls stopped laying. They are 25-30 weeks old and have had a consistant diet. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be. I'ld appreciate any help. Thanks
