I brought a 'rescue' home back in january after finding her all beat up from an attack. She was full grown when i brought her home and quarantined then introduced her to the flock.
She doesnt 'squat' anymore like when i first brought her back and she hasnt laid in the months that Ive had her...
I can go to a smaller 36" window i want to do up top though because that will allow for the most natural light throughout the day and the best ventilation. I wanted to do only one up top for ease of opening. I also figured it would be a challenge but itll keep me busy lol
Not exactly but I have a glass cutter, the wood working tools and a window I can cut down to use... if the 48' doesnt work out, i have a couple roughly 36"
Yea I was planning on doing bigger over hangs and adding those current roof panels to the run to go a bit longer making it an 8'x16' run for 6-8 birds that will be able to free range almost daily. As for the windows, I agree I want to do a top hinge to allow air flow while angling any rain away...
i did mine the exact same way off a 4x8 pallet base with the run off the front except i angled the run roof from 6.5' and the coop to 5' it works great for my 6..how tall is the back wall and how did you screen in those windows its looking real good
expanding my current 4x6 out to 4x8 and going a little bit taller any tips are appreciated

Second day of treatment so not out of the woods yet but thank you for the input we were she wouldnt pull through.
Thursday it is unless i put it in her water tomorrow night..She has not laid as of yet but she is an older girl I am just unsure of her exact age as she was a rescue
stopped with the yogurt and ACV and have corid getting delivered tomorrow.
Was going to start her on it on thursday but should I now wait since she seems to be acting better? or still go ahead and start her on it?
is it possible for them to just feel sick/have diarrhea without it being a life or death matter?
