    I am nuts about silliest too and I just remembered I had a red silliest Roo years ago and he was sweet and gentle. I'm in a city now so pretty sure I can't this time around 😢

    I have orpingtons and they are very gentle as are my dominiquers. Or maybe they are barred rocks, I can't tell the difference! I have mixed silkies with orpingtons with success. I'm in Tennessee too! This is a great climate for these girls.

From what I was hearing, there's a 50% chance you get a hen when you get straight run chicks so I figured it made sense to get 8 in order to end up with 3 or 4 hens. Hmmmm......so...
