    Last birds we added were about a month ago which were quail. We live DIRECTLY next to a large body of water with many wild ducks and other waterfowl which I heard are primary carriers which is why I'm worrying it could be the worst.

    Yup that's what I was hoping for when I crossed them. I have 5 ducklings out of them currently and they are amazingly social already without much handling. I decided to let her hatch these out too because they made a great cross before. Already seeing development.
