I'm not sure if I want to take them away or let her try, shes doing really well so far. If I let her hatch them they'd be Welsh harlequin x khaki Campbell. I was wondering why I wasn't getting many eggs... There are 13.

How many days has she been sitting? Will you be okay if 13 ducklings hatch? I'd put some sort of shelter around her nest to protect her from predators and weather.
Yeah I'm fine with her hatching more ducklings, I have babies from her that I hatched with the incubator and Im happy with how they turned out. I'm trying to figure out what I should do about shelter without making her freak out, im probably just going to give her some cover for shade and protection against rain if I can't find another thing for her, we dont have predator issues really

You may THINK you don't have a predator issue but she is a literal sitting duck and an easy target.

You could probably make a makeshift tent with a tarp or cut a hole into a bucket/box and put it over the nest.

I say we don't have predator issues because you can't tell but she's in an enclosed pen that we haven't even had predators try and get in. The only thing that have even come in the entire yard are cats that the roosters messed up

Welshies are a subspecies of khakis, so they go well together. I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that this will create a calmer and gentile bird. I'm getting khakis soon so I've been researching a lot.

Yup that's what I was hoping for when I crossed them. I have 5 ducklings out of them currently and they are amazingly social already without much handling. I decided to let her hatch these out too because they made a great cross before. Already seeing development.
