    Problems with my Rhode Island Reds

    I have 2 RR and 1 ISA . The is a lays big Brown eggs and the one rd lays medium Brown speckled eggs. The other 3rd lays pink eggs. Lately the one that lays pink eggs is having difficulties with no shell or the shell is very soft. I need to know what is wrong?

    Sorry to hear that. We had the same issue. We had to put it down. But it did provide us with a nice meal. (Not being mean or anything. ) We also got ours asst TSC. Trying to find a breeder of leghorn for next time.

    I have their layer feeder for therm all the time. I let them roam around the yard. I give them fruit inn the morning and veggies for dinner. Twice a week I give them some yogurt Just 2 Tbs.

    I give my pullets meal worms only for a treat. I mix their feed with fruit or veggies and plain Greek yogurt. I also give them a hard boiled egg. Can i give them boss if it is warm outside?

    Getting misters tomorrow. I might be joining them under it. My pullets will be 12 weeks Tuesday. I just feel so sorry for them with this heat.

    I have a Fan going.. ice bottles... frozen fruit... And ice in their water. There's no wind here today in Manteca. I keep watering the grass around them also.

    It's connected so they don't run wild. Already ate one of my tomatoes plants in the garden. So now they stay in this. We bought the extra wire aft home depot. 4 feet high. 50 feet long. It's working so far.
