Yeah it has been over a year since they have come out. Chickens did pretty good last year. A dang coyote or fox got in and got them. That's why I built a coop that if something can get into it I ain't even going to shoot whatever it is. If it can make it in this coop shooting whatever the heck...
Sounds like a winner to me valleychicks. We have harvester ants pretty bad. We live in the woods and with all the ants they bring scorpions. We had pest control come out and spray for about a year. My wife and I aren't a fan because we didn't like the chemicals in the yard.
Putting the finishing touches on my coop tomorrow. I am getting chickens for eggs, but more importantly to eat ants. Anyone have any idea what the best breed is for ant eating?
