GuineasPutting the finishing touches on my coop tomorrow. I am getting chickens for eggs, but more importantly to eat ants. Anyone have any idea what the best breed is for ant eating?
And chickens or just gunieas? Are their eggs pretty good. Please forgive my ignorance.
My friend had someone from the GA Agriculture offices help her. They actually sent her an email with all of the links that I posted and she sent them on to me.I spoke with someone on ATL and they said I did not need the NAIS id because it was not an updated form so I did not fill one in. And I got my license just fine.
I have a Facebook page too and I'm working on a website. Beak Brokers, I Love that! One day I hope to get some Polish too.My business name is Beak Brokers! I have already started a facebook page and I am picking up my first set of silver laced polish breeding pair tomorrow! I am so excited!
Not sure if it's a Sex Link Breed thing but I have Red Sex Link and Black and both will eat any kind of insect they can. I have seen one BSL eat bees and another stand in an ant bed eating ants like they were candy. My RSL loves to catch flies, moths and spiders. Oh and they will also kill other birds that get too close to them. Not chickens but wild birds. I've had both a RSL and BSL go after a mouse.Putting the finishing touches on my coop tomorrow.
