Our housebunny started out in a set-up like yours. Once he got the hang of the litter box, we started leaving the cage door open when we were around to supervise, and he would run back to the litter box to go. He loved to run around the house and be with us.
When I started raising mealworms I found a lot of good information at these sites www.sialis.org/raisingmealworms.htm and mealwormstore.com/raising_mealworms.php
My husband made me a "sifter" out of an old window screen - cut the frame down to about 12 X 8 and I can spoon the old bedding...
I received mine yesterday from TifsBroodyBabes. The towel is so cute - I love snowmen and the cookie cutter will be put to good use - I didn't have a snowman one.
Thanks so much and have a nice Christmas!

I'm so sorry everything has hit you at once! Hopefully the worst is over and the new year will bring happiness and MUCH LESS excitement. Sometimes boring is good!
The towel swap was the least of your worries in the grand scheme of things. Take care and try to have a Merry Christmas.
So sorry that she didn't make it. But you gave her love and I'm sure she knew you were helping her. Hugs to you and your family for the time and emotional investment you made.
