    Hi, just wondering, I've had 2 happy hens for about 3 years together , now one of them has just died , is it kinder to leave her in her own , or rusk stressing her getting a mate ?

    Just got off the phone with the vet and apparently there isn't a vaccine ( or thy don't do one) which I'm surprised at but hey ho She just said keep an eye on them, and stop the free range for a bit till scare is over :barnie

    Oh my, I live near hull East Yorkshire, and really worried Can we get a vaccine from the vet for bird flu? My. 2 pet chickens free range robust the garden during the day, and I've heard it can be passed by wild birds droppings, My 2 seem healthy and fine at the mo, i:/

    Hi all, It was indeed a triple Yorker, I let my daughter eat it , She said it was delicious , and little Winnie seems fine and laying normal size eggs again , So everything is goid Xx:yiipchick

    I haven't weighed it yet, ,I'm going to get some scales tommoro, then il eat it after I know it's weight, Just hope little winnie will be ok I checked her afterwards and she doesn't seem any worse for it

    Hi there, I went to collect my eggs from my 2 girls this morning, just the same as any other morning really, until I found MONSTER egg, it was huge, My poor chickens eyes must of seriously watered at that, Is this normal , now and again ? What causes it? Do I need to worry?:

    I must admit I do . When I go into their run in the morning to collect the eggs , I always say " hello ladies" ten give them their grapes . And tell them their clever girls for giving me an egg, Love my 2 ladies x:(
