    Could possibly be worms. Before treating for worms, I would buy some electrolytes and put them in his water, if those don't work I would treat for worms. :) Hope he gets better!

    Yes, I do have one other rooster, he is a mini rooster, but the mini one harasses the big one because the big one won't fight back, he just runs off. After he runs off, Big Bird, the big rooster, goes and lays down typically so, that kinda makes me think he's sick, or maybe he's just still...

    I dont think he is molting...he's eating layer feed, the same as the hens and ya he's with everyone else :)

    Hey! If I were to let my Cochin hatch some eggs, when is it too late, here in Montana it will usually start snowing mid November. It hits freezing temperatures around the beginning of November! Thanks!

    You could try leaving them In the run for a few days and see if the predator will go away, but if to is still bugging you after a few days you could try trapping it if you would like. As for the chicks not wanting to come back at night....the y will eventually learn to come back, for a few days...

    Alright that would be great....if you think it could be lice, you could treat it for them.... I use Poultry Dust from my local store and I dust them 2 times a year and it kills all the lice:) it's just an idea for prevention! :)
