    @cherrynberry There are two that look similar...now 17 weeks old and not laying yet, but the one pictured here is doing the submissive squat and I hope to find out what color eggs she lays soon!

    I love Welsummers, but it would be exciting (egg-citing?) to have a more blue/green eggers. I guess time will tell!

    Also may one of the light ones is a Starlight Green Egger? Looks like some of mine...I thought maybe they were ISA browns, but that’s not part of the colored egg layer pack.

    I got a HH variety too and am trying to puzzle it all out. The crested one looks like the picture on their website of an Olive Egger.

    I got the egg production variety pack and the colored egg layer variety pack from Hoover’s Hatchery. Figured out a lot of the breeds but a few I’m not sure of. Please help! Chicks are 8 weeks old.

    I purchased several assortments from Hoover’s Hatchery. I’m wondering if these might be Welsummers. My other guess would be brown leghorn, but neither are breeds that are listed (I got the egg production pack and assorted colored egg layers). At what age would the ear color become apparent...
