We were told the layers were 14 months old. Could be molting. I just read about that a few days ago. The other 9 hens we got from the same farm do not have this condition. Don't have a way to separate currently.

Thought I posted this already but can't find it. We have a hen with a swollen bottom. She doesn't appear to be in stress. Searching seems to indicate whatever is the issue it's not contagious. Any ideas?
