    What's the problem?

    We were told the layers were 14 months old. Could be molting. I just read about that a few days ago. The other 9 hens we got from the same farm do not have this condition. Don't have a way to separate currently.

    Found the other post. Don't see a way to delete this one 🫤 Thought I posted this already but can't find it. We have a hen with a swollen bottom. She doesn't appear to be in stress. Searching seems to indicate whatever is the issue it's not contagious. Any ideas?

    New chicken family here. We added 10 layers that were being sold for cheap. One of them seems to have an issue. She doesn't appear to be in any stress but the bottom is swollen. Doesn't seem normal. From searching it doesn't appear to be something contagious. Any ideas?

    Wife and I are new to chickens. It was her idea. She says it was for me cuz I eat eggs everyday and have for 30 years.
