Chicka D Mama
Since joining BYC, I've undergone total knee replacement which finally led to forced retirement 
and disability 
Although I had to give up raising chickens for several years, we still have 1 Americana and 1 Sex Link from previous flocks. 
[which lay an occasional egg when it suits them] 
We moved into my husband's childhood home at the edge of town last summer (2022) and, for the first time in my life, I'm learning how to grow vegetables, can, and preserve. Better late than never?
This past week Aug. 8, 2023) I've obtained a new flock of baby pullets
and I'm happy to say that I'm once again the Chicka D Mama
