    Well I did it! Whew, I hope I never have to do that again! But at least I was prepared thanks to BYC! She was completely ready to hatch, blood vessels were receded, yolk was fully absorbed, she was just plain stuck in the wrong position..My only worry now is that she maybe got chilly, but...

    To the best of my knowledge humidity has stayed pretty much right about 70

    Hard to tell what the heck she's doing..Beak only pops out for a quick second and can't really see in too much :/

    Yes very strange indeed! I have been reading SO much over the last few weeks, and of coarse nothing about a side zipper 🤦‍♀️🤣

    In your opinion, could she potentially finish hatching on her own, even if it seems she may have gotten malpositioned?

    Ok, it has been less than 12 hours since it pipped, so I think I am going to wait it out a bit longer..Just concerned with her zipping down the egg instead of around the top, and the discoloration of the membrane had me a little worried as well..thank you for your input! :)
