    I have a 3wk old chick that came to me at 10 days old with a splayed leg. We've had her for 9 days in a bandaid brace & her leg hasn't improved. How much longer should she be braced? Could this be permanent problem for her? Thanks for the help.

    I have a Barred rock chick that came to me at 10 days old with a splayed leg. I've been bandaid bracing her for 9 days w/o any improvement. How long do I continue to brace? At this age, is this a permanent situation? Thanks.
