    Picked worms off tomatoes and made the young chickens happy. I need to do some weeding but that will have to wait till tomorrow. Python bean and watermelon growing. This is the latest my garden has ever been. I did plant a month later 😂

    This is the pickling lime I use. Just be sure to rinse well. They suggest 3 times but I rinse more than that

    I found small black worms on my beefsteak tomatoes so I hand picked most then sprayed. I also did more thinning out and I cut the zinnias crowding them. I fight mold all the time and if there’s not good air flow they are gone in days

    I finish the old fashioned pickles yesterday. I will be picking limas soon. I guess none of my yard long beans can up. :/. Or maybe they did and the month of rain killed them.

    Speaking of clover, I would always know what the surrounding farmers used as cover crop bc red clover etc would pop up in clumps in my yard. I love clover

    In the middle of making my old fashioned sweet pickles and everything feels off bc instead of starting at night, I had to start during the day. I figure overnight is 7/8 hours? I never had to worry w time when I began the process at night! It didn’t rain yesterday! I need to do some weeding...
