Greetings from beautiful Milpitas, CA. We're just a few miles from Google, Facebook, Yahoo!, Apple, to name a few. We have four pet chooks in a standard suburban lot. Looking forward to hearing from other BYC members and hooking up with local chicken pet owners.

Rhettie regularly lays double-yolkers, but they're about half the size of this monster. I'm afraid to crack it open since it might contain an alien life-form. ;)
Rhettie, my two year old Black Star, started laying 3 1/2" eggs. Is this normal? She's very healthy and doesn't seem to have any trouble laying the supersized eggs. Ouch! That must hurt, though.
