I raised 5 courtinex quails from egg now they are 6 weeks old I've had to separate one from the group because we ended up with two males in the group and they started fighting. I removēd the one that was the bully he's happily living in a cage next to the others with his teddy bear.
We just hatched our first batch of quail and 5 hatched on day 18. We still have 3 eggs in the incubator and we are on day 20 should I toss the 3 eggs now. I had trouble candling the eggs no matter how many torches I tried it was not happening.
At the moment we have 5 chicks in the brooder 2ft x 4ft and we are cleaning it out once per day. we are using puppy pads for bedding until they are 1 week old.
Our smallest chick is really noisy the rest are content. I've also noticed the smallest one seems a bit of a bully keeps pecking the other 4 chick's feet.
I just went to move them and one of the eggs that had pipped has started zipping so going to wait until he's finished zipping before moving the dry chick

my 13-year-old daughter was given these eggs 3 weeks ago, she put them in the incubator, and today day 20 the bluish-green egg hatched t can't get a pic of the chic yet it's still in the incubator. I've no idea what breed any of the chicks will be
