Awesome, it might take time, but maybe you can. We are trying to do the same thing with my dad, but I think he's not against it anymore. They are actually really fun, and a lot like dogs, their manure is order less and a great fertilizer for plants, so that's on the plus side.
Oh wow, hope they'll be okay. Your moving them back so they must be.
