Even if I'm not very comfy on my bed, if my cat is comfy, I will stay. During the cold months I bought oatmeal specifically for my chickens, and spent my time before school making it rather then making my own breakfast
ETA: Also, our little shed full of camping supplies and Easter stuff is...
Oh yes. I scold my chickens all the time for stealing my blue heelers food or getting into the garden. My mother always laughs when she comes out of the house and sees me waving a finger in front of the chicken. "Paula, no. You cannot steal Blackeye's food. It's his. I'm afriad that if you do...
Today I planted my watermelons, cantelope, kohlrabi, gourds, and peppers. A week ago I planted my sunflowers
PotterWatch, you and me have the same patronus.
Chicken math? Psssh! Who needs that?!?
It worked its magic on me...because my "only 10 BRs" turned into 10 BRs, 6 RIR, 6 assorted bantams (including 3 silkies! ), 28 quail, and 3 new turkeys.
Love the exorcism one....
Yeah my dad took me to TSC last week so we could buy all of our feed...I didn't realize that he did this to prevent us from having to go during Chick Days Because he knows that if we went in to get feed, we'd come out with chicks. I can't resist them and neither can he
I love Pokemon...especially the originals. I'm so confused as to what's even going on nowadays... All I know is that Arcanine is the best pokemon ever! Just saying!
And those 5 BA will turn into 100. Tha's chicken math for you...we started out with 10 BRs and now we have 32 (I think) chickens, 19 Coturnix quail (30+ in the incubator) , and in the spring we'll be getting turkeys.
I'd eithr go with the Buff Brahmas or the Barred Rocks. The Rocks are AMAZING egg layer in my opinion, and are always extremely sweet. Buff Brahmas have just grown on me because of all their different personalities.
I am most certainly not owned by my chickens. I certainly do NOT have to expand my run and coop this weekend, simply because I feel in love with chicks at the feed store. I certainly am NOT buying more chicks just so my 'exotic' bantam roo can have some girls his own size. I did NOT make oatmeal...
I raise quail so I can wrap them in bacon and throw em; on the grill. Delicious. We use our Coturnix for eggs, meat, fun genetics, and just because it's a nice little side-hobby.
