    I got five chicks from tsc. they are about two weeks old, they are supposed to be all female but the tale feathers on two look like cockerals. how do i tell for sure

    oh, and i have a pen 425 square feet witch is plenty big enough. the coop however is 3' by 5' 7" they will have access to a weatherized barrel i used for ducks a few years back. Is that enough shelter?

    Hi im knew to raising chickens and have a ton of questions. How big should the coop be for 5 chickens? how thick can the wood they roost on be? How are chickens in cold weather? How do i know if the chicks are ready to be moved outside? How big should their run be?
