Her crop felt full of balls, like beeds. It was really heavy. Also, I moved her into a crate with bedding food and water, which she immediately drank water. The Roo was keeping the water from her.
She doesn’t have mites or lice. And I can take some pictures of her tomorrow, we had around 12 new chicks, sold all the suspected Roosters, missed one, we were gonna keep the one with a crooked beak, but now we’re prolly gonna get rid of him bc he’s tearing the hens up. we got 20 hens.
She had...
She’s been sick before, but she’s the Roo’s favorite hen.
I just found out I have ANOTHER Roo.
They tagteamed her so much she bled.
ATP, I may end up culling her because of her health. She’s scared and stressed.
Should I cull her?
Also, getting rid of the crooked beak Roo. He’s a jerk...
It looks like both, like she has fowl pox on her comb and she SOUNDS wheezy, also she has a canker.
I can get her some medication soon we’re going to start her on some home remideids for now
Barnyard mix, broody for months, just noticed the severe underside feather loss, head feather loss floppy comb, black spots, runny nose
It smells like her face is rotting.
Drinks water, soild dropping.
It’s gross
Pictures.
Thank you! I’ll take pictures tomorrow morning when I feed her! She’s quarantined with a dwarf hen (this other hen is 6 months old and the size of a baby!)
She’s a buff Orpington yard mix, she’s been a lot more skiddish snd stoped eating. Along with stress molt.
It started just the other day, maybe 3 days
The rooster I have sucks and over mates his hens, we’re getting rid of him, but there’s only been one other instance of a hole in a hen, months...
The chick is in a chick chair and wrapped legs, i looked at slipped tendon pictures and she has just slipped tendons, she is just annoyed that she cant flail around
