    No I don't see anything moving. She was in a coop with many other non silkie breeds as well. Probably 20-25 and only 3 silkies at 3 months old.

    Just got this cute little silkie and it's in a bit of rough shape. About 3 months old, Some tail feather pulled out, seems pretty alert and spunky though. Wondering if this is a sign of lice or anything else? What should I use if that's the case or to be on the safe side. Have it in a quarantine...

    I have a chicken and when we let it out in the morning it often does a funny spin/jump dance. It did it again this evening as it was foraging in the dirt. What is the meaning of this?

    Ok, thank you. There are some rock barred pullets that I can get now but not sure if that would be a good fit. This is our only chicken and it needs a friend soonish.

    We adopted a silkie cross-something. Not quite sure what but he/she will need a companion. Still not 100% sure if it's a cockerel or a hen either. Other than another silkie, what breeds are good with them? Thanks .
