    How many nesting boxes should I have if I'm looking at 6-10 chickens? I've read on here that you don't want them to spend all their time in the boxes, so I shouldn't have one for every hen? Thanks, Ryan

    Just insulating the nesting box area?

    1st timer here. After reading quite a bit through this thread, I'm guessing that in Southern Maryland insulating my 8'x8' or 8' x 10' coup won't be necessary for 6-8 birds with our relatively mild winters here? Thanks for your time!
