My hen isn't acting like a hen.

We found a turken rooster that sounds like a goo addition to the flock. I think we're gonna get him. He comes with one turken hen, and two chicks that are adorable!

My hen isn't acting like a hen.

Sorry. I put it a little confusing. WE built it a little bigger, so if we wanted to add on to our flock, we could.

I think we may have found a Turken Roo that's supposed to be very docile. I don't know if we're getting it for sure, but maybe. I really want a Buff Orpington rooster, but still figuring everything out.

My hen isn't acting like a hen.

My ladies are about a year and a half old, and they've been wonderful, for the most part, but very recently, my Ameraucana hen has been mounting my other ladies! I'm thinking of maybe just getting a rooster, or two, but is there anything else I could do? Feedback is appreciated.

    Hello Everyone!! Rooster Question...

First off, and my roosters started acting like rooster a few days after my girls started laying. Maybe they're still establishing the pecking order, and he isn't interested in breeding yet.
