    Day 18 just put eggs on lockdown!!!!! anyone else??????

    Well, its the end of day 18 and i just put 19 chicken eggs on lockdown. i also put 8 coturnix quail eggs in a few days after the chicken eggs so they would hatch at the same time. today is day 18 for the chicken eggs and day 15 for the quail eggs. anyone else just put eggs on lockdown????

    yepp... the are brown coturnix; and the ones with the speckled breasts are females but the ones with the rusty colored breasts are males. Nice pen!!!!!!! is it hard to find the eggsin all that tall grass??????

    quail egg laying question????????????????????????????

    i have 4 coturnix quail(3 hens and a rooster) when they wer about 5 weeks i looked into their small pen and there was 3 eggs. a few days later i moved them to a new pen and got about 6 more eggs, since then i added a red light that stays on continuosly. they just stopped laying about 4 days ago...

    thanks. and i got it set perfect, i didnt have to move the light bulb, i had to adjust the thermostat just a little bit. do u know how long i should wait before putting the coturnix quail eggs in there????
