    can you explain what this looks like? What is the flooring on the second "story"?

    Can you share what your design plan is? For example, is it as simple as running some 2x4 ramps along the side about 3 feet up, or is it adding a "loft", etc. Thank you! I'm obsessed but can't seem to get my head wrapped around it.

    Hi, I'm custom building a run that provides the roughly 10 sq ft chicken (they will not free range, too risky here). The run is walk-in, and 6 feet high. Are there examples of how to add additional "space available" by utilizing this vertical space, similar to how a second story adds square...

    update: Took her back to the hatchery, they checked her out and confirmed sneezing and odd breathing noises but couldn't figure out if anything wrong with her. Given I'm just getting started, I opted to have them take care of her and I took another back.

    Thank you for the reply. I got her from a feed supply store that hatches them from their own breeding pairs. Bedding is corn cobs, but in the isolation hutch, it's just paper towels.

    I got this little one yesterday and noticed she was sneezing pretty regularly (maybe once every 2 minutes), and when I listen very closely to her breathing, I hear a little bit of a 'clicking' ... poops are gooey to normal, eyes are clear. I've isolated her and she's cheeping up a STORM (loud!)...
