I can’t quite remember what it exactly looked like but I managed to get this photo. I cleaned her so she doesn’t look like that now. There was a bit of green. 😰
Thank you, yeah I thought it was weird that one day she was fine and the next she is sick, her colour is normal to what it normally is. Her poop was a runny yellow colour
Thank you, she does normally lay eggs but has recently stopped (she has been laying for a while and stopping for a while for a long time). I checked her for notes but I didn’t see anything. I didn’t manage to get any photos of her poop sorry.
Thank you, I checked her abdomen and it was not hard and her crop was not hard either, it felt normal. She is around 4 years old and she does get corn as well.
Hello, my hen normally runs around and eats the grass but today she is not really walking around and she has yellow diarrhoea. I washed her and she is just sitting down now. She seems like she is breathing heavily and sometimes breathes out of her mouth and she is closing her eyes as she is...
I’m really sorry but I’m not sure what the size of the coop and run is so when I go back there I will be able to tell you (my grandad owns land with chickens and sheep ect I don’t live there). I have kept her in the same seperated part for now but I might try and add a few chickens in there at a...
Hi guys, I have 30 hens and about a week ago I saw that one was ill. I separated her to keep an eye on her but the other chickens could still see her, stand next to her etc so she wasn’t taken completely away from the others. She is now better and a couple of days ago I put her back in with the...
Thankyou, I checked under her wings and neck for mites or lice and i didn’t see any, should I get some of the permethrin garden dust and use it on her just incase? (It was the first time I’ve checked for lice and mites 😂)
Hello, recently I noticed that one of my chickens has a very pale comb and face, and also shaking her head. Does anyone know what it could be and how I can make her better?
There are rats that keep running in and out of my chickens coop and I’m worried that they are going to end up hurting my chickens and they just scare me as well. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them? Everytime I cover the holes they keep making new ones and I’ve tried putting rat poison...
Yes she keeps moving he neck to the side and she doesn’t have any blood on her so the other chickens might not of injured her, I gave her a bit of water and she moved her head but I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing, do you think she could be egg bound?
