    haha, me and a friend did it a while ago with her chickens. we painted bright pink and red nail polish on the hens, but i was never told how they reacted to it afterwards. i though it would be fun and look cool on my chickens! plus, i would have some glamour hens!

    I guess, but every time i come out when it is pouring my chickens are just standing around. after a couple days of constant raining my oldest hen started to sneeze a little. I even put them into shelter and they just jumped out! they never really seemed dry until the day after it stopped...

    while most people are worrying about heat, i still worry about rain. when it rains, my 2 chickens just stand there and get poured on. i have to keep on moving them to shelter and drying them off with a towel. is there any way i can keep them from getting wet?

    Although it isnt the best idea, i set the hose to mist or even shower and spray mine down. they wont like it at first, but later on you can really see they liked it.
