  • Hi Lisa,

I hope you get this message. I was looking to see if you are still selling swedish ducks.
Just remember you want to hang and hatch with me I post all my stuff on the diary incubation thread, its a great place to go when you have issues with chicks chickens or anything, I do alot of research and BS at times, I am feeling bad because I will miss several of you guys really really bad, if you frequent a specific thread let me know!
OK, I'll go ahead and get 4 lbs of them, and Thank you for offering to crack them! I'll take you up on your offer...I never had the Mohawks, so I'll try them. :) Do you take paypal? Can you send me a total for 4 lbs + shipping? please? I'll send it right out after I hear from you. Thanks again. PS- We have Stink Bugs here too(they came into our country at our nearest airport 10 yrs ago or so, and they are a HUGE pain the neck!)
We have some Burketts but mostly Mohawks left. The Mohawks actually taste better to me this year. You'll get about 50% meat from these pecans. One FYI, I almost forgot. We've been attempting to not use any chemicals in the orchard the last few years, and the stink bugs will get some of the pecans. When they "eat" a pecan, it leaves a black spot on the meat. DON'T eat that black spot. It tastes horrible. On a good note, there's not a lot of them, but enough that you'll see some if you get in-shell or cracked pecans. Cracking them is a pain if you don't have some sort of a cracker, either mechanical or hand-held. We will gladly crack them for you for free this year. We fell behind on shelling them this year and we're struggling to get them out of the way so we'll crack them for free this year, but probably not next year.
