Thanks, I will check that out. I don't think that is the reason in my case. They are getting plenty of calcium and I still have good strong egg shells, no problem there, and still getting at least 3 double yolkers a day.
Ok, I have 6 New Hampshire Reds that just turned a year old and have been laying brown eggs faithfully since last October. As of about two weeks ago, the eggs are now white. No change in food or environment. And no change in size or quality. Any ideas here?

Hi Aubrey, I am in Barrington, quite close to you.. I also have a "vent " window that opens and closes that my girls can see out of when they roost. I DO close that this time of year because they have a plexiglass picture window on the other side.
