Couple of Pics From This Morning

I have about 16 birds in it now but the run is progressing and they all will not have to stay there much longer. Here is a picture of the backside lil door open.

and a picture of the inside with the roost

and what would pictures be without a roo seeing what is going on?

That is my step son posing with the doors open on the tractor. I designed it so that the big door will not open without the small door but the small door opens by itself.

Nice tractor and birds. I would like to build one eventually that can be moved so birds can eat grass but I have to wait until hunting season is over. Don't bother hubby during hunting season!!

Hey friend that is a sweet little rolling pen. I think I would like to build something like that so I can let my chickens have access to my garden in the winter. Not only would they leave behind lots of good nutrients but work in lots of weeds and bugs. I am sure there are lots of goodies to eat as well. Also nice to move a few birds around so they get fresh grass in the summer. The other advantage is protection from most dogs. Great pen!
