I always let my chickens wander and explore and they always come back to thier coop. But the first few times you should keep an eye on them to see where they go. My chickens always go to the garden in the font yard to have a dirt bath so whenever they're out of the yard I know where to find them
hi, I have a broody hen right now and I am planning on getting chicks and getting my broody hen to raise them. What I have heard to do is, in the middle of the night slip the chicks under her and she will think that they are her own. I've never done it but I'm going to give it a try.
Thanks But I was wondering if I were to put some chicks under her at night would they have to be day olds or could they be older chicks like week olds?
