    I will leave them a few more days, im doubtful but hopefully they might hatch?! it is her first time hatching eggs, and she was brilliant she only got off the next for 10 minutes a day and would go back on them, but they seem to be cold..

    My broody has been sitting for 22 days and there is still no chicks? the eggs seem to be cold and no pips either, there is definitely development in them do you think they have died in the shell, should i leave them or crack one of them open and see whats going on? cheers..

    You have to laugh at them! They were all in together last night,I feed and watered them this morning and left them in there run, went off to work, came home and collected the eggs guess what i found on top of my eggs? Hmm... a silkie chicken! I pushed her off the eggs and she went to drink walk...

    I fell like i have tried everything with them! I split one today from the rest and all she wanted to do was get out of there and free-range, so i gave in and let her out!Maybe i should leave her alone with no other chicken friends and let her lay her own clutch? Would golf balls not be the same...
