How to tell if baby chicks or a rooster or a hen? I have 4 baby bantam chicks, does anyone know a easy way to tell if I have a rooster? I was wanting to keep a rooster and a hen out them and give the other 2 to a friend.

Yea see I would think i would get 4 to 5 eggs a day too. if i am lucky i might get 2 and that on a warm day lol. I an't sure what i need to do. maybe feed them something different maybe not sure.
No. the most they have laid is back in summer in july when we got them they was laying 12 a week. and then when it got cold they went to laying abou 4 to 6 a week. and i am not providing them with light in the coop. what do you mean by molting? sorry i am new to this.
Ok i have 5 hens they are about 1 1/2 year old they lay like 6 to 12 eggs a week. i am feeding the laying pellet. And my question is. Shoudn't they be laying alot more eggs then this?
