    we got an egg today that was ruff to the touck the chicken that laid it is about six months old. Is there a problem I need to address. I have recently put the chickens in a new coop.

    Our chickens seem to be starving, we feed them every night and there is always feed left when they are through. The next night they peck at us until we feed them. We have ten hens and two roosters. They free range all day. Thank you.

    Well we have hatched three chicks over a two day period, the first is healthy and looking good, the second has club feet, he is only about six hours out of the incubator, we had two with slayed and waited too long to realize it was a problem and they didn't make it.     Sorry about replying so late, HE DOES HAVE LEG FEATHERS! You can't see them in the picture. Actually his leg feathers dont look as good as they used to.We have two roosters this one and a rhode island red, the leg feathers tell us if he is the father.

    Well we hatched two eggs on friday the thirtheenth. Today is Sunday and one is going fast. threir legs hsve been slayed out to there side and they cant seem to walk. I dont know what to do. Any suggestions?

    I have had 16 eggs in my incubator and I have not hatched one yet. I keep the temp at 100 degrees and keep water in the incubator for humidity.     One of my girls was found dead this morning. I have no ideal what killed her. Her head was missing and her back was opened to reveal her insides. her internal organs was missing.
