Update: still unsure of the gender here, though really leaning toward roo. The chick is now 13 weeks and does not near the sickle feathers or much of a saddle, only the facial development is stumping me. Would be curious as to what others think though now I don't have long to go before I know...
Yeah that what I was thinking, I've been watching it develop and trying to watch for other supposed signs such as tail growth (grew the tail out right from the get go no slow tail growth like some say roos do) and general behavior which the chick tends to stick closer to the others and keeps low...
