    I really just wanted to see what those people that raise silkies would say about mine as I've seen tons of posts on here with even younger silkies than mine, ranging from 6-20 weeks, with lots of responses. But I'll just wait I guess

    Got some silkies I need help with sexing please! I am aware Owen has cross beak. Owen wilson (speckled silkie) 11.5 weeks Cotton (mostly white silkie) 12.5 weeks Groot (grey black silkie) 13 weeks Thabkyou so much!

    The lavendar sussex chicks are 11 weeks old And to me I feel like they look like roosters but the breeder supposedly sexed them as hens for me. Also in a previous post a few sais my austrolorp may be a roo and this is him/her now (last picture) Thanks in advance!

    The photo probably doesn't help because it was facing the red light in the brooder.. this is a better photo with it away from that light it's actually pale and not red at all really.

    Thankyoy that's what I though! What age can you tell with Sussex and wyandottes? The wyandottes are 5 weeks but still quite small to me and the Sussex are 6 weeks.

    So I got a bunch of different breeds so it's been a bit difficult compariby whom may be hens and whom may be cocks. Pictures 1 and 2 is my austrolorp at 8-9 weeks old. Pictures 3 and 4 is my Pekin Bantam which I think may be a frizzle - 9 weeks old. Picture 5, 6, 7 and 8 chicks are 2 buff...
