Thank you all for your input! She was supposed to be a sexed pullet, but her little barks now and then put me on edge thinking she's about to belt out a crow.
Here she is with her fellow EE sisters [I hope] and a BO from the same hatch.
I noticed in most photos is has 3 to 4 standard sized hens in it, if you rotated it around your yard every few days, how many girls do you think it could comfortably fit in it? Or is 3 pretty snug?
Thanks!
So conflicted! LOL.....Ahhh...these crazy chicks are making ME a crazy chick.
Thanks for weighing in everyone, I'm in a rush to sort them as I'm limited on space and need to move out the folks that are going to crow. Or, as I told my husband, "If it crows, it goes."
Ordered 3 buff orps from Ideal...I have 6 blonde chicks, 3 that are light blonde and 3 a richer shade if blonde, which chicks are the orps and which are packing peanuts?
Thanks :)
Black Australorps (?)
Buff Orpingtons and...packing peanuts....?? And which are the orps?
Mystery packing peanuts (round 2!) Silver Lace Wyandottes?
Easter Eggers (2 muffy/fluffy faces, one without?)
Barred Rocks?
Please feel free to correct me or give any insight. :)

Side note: of all the...

Edit: final chick count is 21. Goodness!
PO just called (6:45 am ) and they're here!
My DH just went to pick them up...fingers crossed he doesn't bring home a box of sadness.
Edit: everyone is out, introduced to food / water and peeping up a storm. 2 DOAs ..a broiler packing peanut and an Australorp, I believe.
Oops, forgot to...
Our weather is the same as it is at the hatchery, maybe a *touch* warmer (3 degrees? lol) we're about 2/3 hours away from each other. I know they're shipping, too.
(Yes, Yes, I could've driven to pick up the peepers - but I have 3 little ones under the age of 3 and a road trip was not an...
I ordered a week ago for a 1/29 ship date (today) ...they updated their facebook page after posting some last minute specials to say they were sold out. It's almost 7pm here and I have yet to receive a shipment confirmation....
Ruh-oh...did I get lost in the shuffle...?
