    These are Atwoods chicks from a mixed pullets bin. They are five to six weeks old on this picture. I wonder if this is an Easter Egger? I split a six-pack with a friend.

    I currently have seven guineas. Four males and three females. So lots of fighting, and I thought if they have to forage more, maybe they won't have as much time for fighting. :/ and hole digging.

    If you go out of town, do you leave a feeder out for them? I will have to do the same thing this fall, leaving them in the trees (which is what they want anyway) but if I leave a feeder out for them, I will attract raccoons and possums I fear.

    If your outside coop is snake proof, I would move them as the temps seem pretty good for that. But we have big blacksnakes in my area and my coops are not snake proof. :( We have lost them as large as six week to a big blacksnake.
