My one chick died. so I got 0 out of 24. I am done with incubating.

Thank you. I think I am done incubating. I will stick to buying chicks from the local feed store.

This was my first experience with hatching eggs. What a bad experience. 0 out of 24.

I went on vacation after it was born and got back yesterday but didn't notice it til this morning. I boiled some egg and put the yolk in some water and touched it to the chicks beak and it moved its mouth like it was eating it. So I will continue and see how it does. Thanks for the advise.

It is laying on its side. Is it too late or what? I am boiling an egg right now.

It is the only one that hatched and is alone in the brooder. it is pooping but now is weak I think.. Is there anything I can do to force feed it? I tried putting scratch in my hand but it won't eat.

It was born on Sat, the 25th and is drinking water but isn't eating. it is just lying there now. What do I do? It is chirping but just lying there.

I have no more pips yet. Hopefully I will wake up to some more pips. Just the one hatched today and is doing great. Good night everyone.

Can I take it out now or should I wait til it dries? Then what if no others are piping should I leave it in our take it out?
