    Oh hahaha no I didn't mean painting the ramp that's just pooped on all day, haha....but I did paint the area around the door. I like keeping my coop and run looking rustic chic. We spend a lot of time in there with the chickens so why not make it look nice for all of us!

    Thanks for the info! We're in Northern California so moisture is pretty much unheard of around here unfortunately. The ramp has been working really well for all of us - and it's a favourite place for my chickies to hang out, like it's their front porch in the 'hood.

    Haha they look great! What kind of elastics did you use? I tried to do that with my polish boy because one of the older hens pecks his Crest at night but every elastic I've tried with him he manages to rip right out...I even tried using sports tape and he yanked it off but it was still dangling...
