    No problems here, but I'm in town. If your roo was that big, I don't know if a hawk could've carried him off. Usually a hawk will pick out alot of feathers after they make a kill.

    My girls were 8 weeks when they went to live outside in the middle of February. I had planned on "hardening" them, but it didn't quite work out that way. Anyway, I was worried sick about them all night and they were just fine in the morning. So, yes, I think mid- May would be fine!

    I lived in St. John's for about six months a few years ago, right across from Cathedral park. I was surprised at how quiet it was even though I lived right next to the bridge!
