    Silkies are only meant to lay three times a week, but mine is laying almost FIVE times a week.

    You can eat them straight up, fresh from the nest box (not raw, i mean cooked in some shape or form) or you can put them away (you can leave them out of the refrigerator for up to a month!). They do stay fresh if you put the in the fridge, but once you've left them there, you can't take them out...

    I have a sassy white Silkie called Chicki Minaj, a black Japanese Bantam with a chicken nugget coloured neck, so I called her Burnt Chicken Nugget (Nugget for short). Those chickens are both mine. My sisters (both Japanese Bantams) are both black (Millie) and white (Winona)

    I've had chickens for a few months now. We saved one off the side of the road, so now we have four, and (since we might go into corona virus quarantine) we might be getting another two. I'm still new, so any information you might have would really help.
