Wow, you are so right about the Egyptian Fayoumi! That is the one breed I was hoping not to get, lol! But my little Buff Laced Polish did great through the past 2 Connecticut winters, so I'm sure this one will be fine. Is there a way to check the combs when they're this young? My chicks are coming from Meyer today! They are actually in my state already. Fingers crossed that all 4 arrive healthy. Meyer Meal Maker... Any guesses?
Here's my 2 day old Chick that I received as a Meyer Mealmaker. She is a hearty eater! My best guess is a White Plymouth Rock. But maybe a Buff Orpington??? What do you think? Cheers, Corinne- ChickpeaCT

My chicks are arriving today!
They all survived the night!! I've been keeping an eye on them, and they are all eating and drinking. What a relief! I was sooooo nervous yesterday. They slept silently through the night and woke up shortly after 6am. I love the EcoGlow20! I am thoroughly impressed :D Cheers, Corinne- ChickpeaCT

This definitely helps! Thank you for sharing a success story :) I will keep up with the dropper feeding and watering. I did the hard boiled egg yolk earlier, but I'll try the watered down chick feed this evening. Thanks for the advice! Corinne- ChickpeaCT
