    They are very cute. I have about a dozen in the bator now. My first hatch. They were shipped from Florida and all seem to be doing well so far, fingers crossed! This has me so anxious I need candlers anonymous, lol!

    How does this look to you experienced hatchers. This is a practice egg from my father in law's farm. Day 3 almost!

    Okay thank you so much. I am practicing with some eggs from my father in law's farm, but yes the Silkie eggs are shipped so I will use the carton method. I'll take the turner put too. Thanks so much for your help! So exciting! This is my first hatch!

    So do I take the egg turner out and leave the eggs on their sides? Do I turn them by hand? Or no turning the last three days just increase humidity and leave temp the same?
