We got them from community feed store which was giving the chicks free with a bag of feed. They are not on raised wire. Thanks for the links!- chicksRcute

Rhode Island Reds; Weak Legs?
We have 15 RIR. They are now 16 weeks old. We have had three cases of partial disjointment at the knee (two sever (one as a chick, one about 8 weeks), one limping now (unknown case, started yesterday)). Our chicks were moved today to there new coop. We lost another one about 2 weeks ago to a dog. Our chicks and chickens are fine now. My Chicken Will Not Eat
Emerald my chicken was attacked by a hawk a while ago. She has recovered from her injuries. She would eat until she went back to the other chickens. They not remembering her attacked. I Don't Know if My Chicken is Sick or Not
