When you say help them hatch are you meaning to help open the eggs after they have pipped? I tried that once with a chick egg after about 26 hours after first pip, it didn't end well :( What are your tips on helping them?...
When I run chicken eggs they are usually a day early on pipping. I use a still air foam incubator with an egg turner. I just did my last hatch of 32 eggs and had 28 chirping chicks make it to the brooder :) I just really want to have a good hatch on both.
Should I start both eggs at the same time and run a divider down the middle? That way once the chicks hatch I can pull them out and then have a week for duck eggs to finish?

Yes I have been reviewing their chick pictures but they are very hard to pick specific breeds, example is that the barred rocks, dominiques and Marans look similar, and not every chick is the same as pictured:( but I can't wait to see what they grow into :)
I ordered a mixed selection of pullets from a hatchery, they unfortunately don't tell you what breeds they send. I do know that they are true breeds, so my question is when do they start to take on their final feathers so that you can determine the breeds? I have so many and trying to guess...
