    Can Altsterier chickens be feather sexed, or sexed by their down? I have some eggs in the incubator and I am very excited. They are the BBR type. Also I was wondering if they are particularly noisy? It's funny, all the photos I see on the internet their mouths are open. Lol

    Well Pookie is still hanging in there. I guess time will tell with how life will be for her. I guess no one out there has any suggestions. I was very concerned with the cleft palette. Sometimes she is weezy. But that seems to be getting better. All the other goslings and ducks stay together...

    hello I hatched 2 goslings last Tuesday and one was born with egg sack outside, (I did help it out, maybe too early) it did absorb the next day. Poor thing looked like it would die but hung in there. I had to feed with syringe for 2 days, Has spaddle leg, (I put on splint), maybe wry neck as...
